Big 4 firm based in Central London with an internationally recognised Tax Team requires a Senior Manager to take on a team within its M&A Tax Division. This role has come about due to recent expansion and success within the team's ranks, and will have a focus on transactional related work. This position also offers an attractive opportunity to develop a client portfolio, and the prospect of controlling the deal cycle from cradle to grave.
Tasked with taking on a senior managerial role within the Tax Team, the key responsibilities are as follows:
- Assisting in both the buy-side and sell-side of M&A roles
- Managing a portfolio of high profile projects advising UK and international clients
- Working predominantly on transaction related work
- Client business development
- Taking an active part in management of the firm through consistent contact with Partners and other managers
- Appraising junior members of the team whilst helping seek out new talent to join the team
The successful candidate will be degree educated and should be ACA qualified or equivalent. A firm grasp of M&A Tax is essential, as is prior experience in a professional services firm. This role involves working with specialists in the field, as a result you will have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert through working alongside these individuals. Furthermore, there is a realistic prospect of high achievers being noticed and promoted quickly.
