A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at a FTSE 100 listed and worldwide banking services provider who are actively seeking to add a high quality transfer manager. Primarily the role requires transfer pricing compliance and efficiency with UK and non UK authorities but what makes this role unique is aspects of management and leadership as well as structuring and planning skills.
You will be the first point of contact and responsible for the management of the TP team in Group Tax ensuring compliance across all areas of the organisation through in depth analysis and mitigation of transfer pricing tax risk. You will be required to work with senior managers on developing, planning and structuring projects but primarily you will have the authority to make most decisions and you will be working with limited direction from senior managers regarding business led projects. The scope you receive to make the role your own and market yourself, your team and the tax department is huge.
Educated to degree level and an ACA or CTA are a prerequisite combined with post qualification experience advising on Transfer Pricing preferably in retail, commercial or investment banking. Good personal and interpersonal skills as well as top level market and commercial awareness are also hugely advantageous.
