As a Federal Commercial Tax Senior Associate for this growing practice, you will be responsible for:
*Providing tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations for a variety of clients from Fortune 100 to emerging businesses
*Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience
*Building and managing client relationships
*Managing teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects
*Advising clients and delivering high quality tax services and advice
*Participating in and contributing to market and business activities external to the firm
Required Skills
*BA in Accounting or related field of study
*CPA or JD/LLM license credentials in taxation
*2+ years of experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm
*2+ years of solid working knowledge in Accounting and Tax principles especially in Tax-Compliance, advisory skills, and FAS 109
*Ability to lead and supervize a financial team on special project assignements
*Proficiency in Excel software and Word Office
*Excellent communication, organizational, technical, analytical, and writing skills
*A strong passion for research
