This is lead position within the business, and will link into a wider Global VAT team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for providing guidance and advice on all VAT and related issues, the management of VAT compliance and systems related issues, liaison with the wider energy team on strategic issues, and manage the relationship with the tax authorities and other professional bodies. You should have at least 7 years technical VAT expertise drawn from a Big Four firm and / or a multinational organization, a good understanding of ERP systems and tax engine software and ideally a professional qualification. A strong, commercial, self-motivated individual will be looked for, who is willing to take ownership and drive the business forward.
