The Deloitte office in Reading is our largest outside London, where our rapidly growing and innovative 18-strong Transfer Pricing Team led by 2 Partners work on a wide range of transfer pricing projects. The team provides expert advice on all aspects of transfer pricing including documentation, defence and planning. Particular focus areas for the team are Business Model Optimisation, transfer pricing for Intellectual Property and the transfer pricing of debt.
Successful candidates will attend client meetings from an early stage to discuss their Transfer Pricing issues and opportunities. This will ensure that you gain invaluable experience and learn from our exceptional team that focuses on providing practical solutions in an increasingly complex area.
The Transfer Pricing team in Reading is part of a wider 90-strong corporate tax group which is led by a team of 17 partners and directors. As a Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
*The development, in conjunction with other team members, of transfer pricing design, compliance and audit defence strategies
*Drafting transfer pricing reports including economic and financial analyses to support the client's position with tax authorities
*Development of comparability analyses
*Supporting the Transfer Pricing Practice through the development of new services and analytical tools, and the assumption of practice management responsibilities
To be considered, you must possess:
*Experience within consulting or industry involving economic analysis
*Previous experience in dealing with transfer pricing issues is advantageous but is not a must (we would be keen to hear from corporate tax specialists or individuals with an audit background who want to work in transfer pricing)
*Client driven skills with strong commercial awareness

*Exceptional client relationship management skills with the ability to develop quality outputs
