Job Description

Join Deloitte's successful Stamp Tax Consultancy team as a Practice Co-ordinator and enjoy exposure to a wide variety of work on a daily basis. This is a key position within a challenging and stimulating environment.

Deloitte's Stamp Tax Consultancy ("STC") is recognised as the market leading provider of stamp tax advice and assists a wide range of clients on strategic and project-facing tax planning, risk management, and consultancy services.

As the Practice Co-ordinator you will be responsible for co-ordinating the financial, marketing and general practice of this dedicated, specialist team through performing and managing an array of administrative and financial tasks such as client engagement procedures, billing and financial management, marketing and other administrative responsibilities.

In particular, the role involves:

*Management of the team's finances through the management and monitoring of WBS codes and billing and cash collection targets. You will also be responsible for the production of detailed billing schedules and reviewing and analysing the STC's revenue on a regular basis.

*Ensuring high quality client care and administration. This will include managing client acceptance procedures, setting up project codes in SAP, recording opportunities and wins in our internal database, drafting engagement letters and billing.

*Raising the profile of the STC both within Deloitte and externally through taking responsibility for the STC's Intranet and Extranet sites (ensuring both are kept up-to-date and topical); communicating opportunities and wins to relevant internal publications and resources; arranging and conducting regular marketing meetings with STC team members; and event organisation.

*Maintenance of knowledge management through the circulation of appropriate case law, journals and other relevant publications, and management of HMRC notices.

To be considered you must possess:

*A University degree or similar
*Experience of working in a business environment, preferably within the financial services arena (although prior experience of working in a tax practice is not essential)
*Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
*Experience of assisting in developing and maintaining client relationships
*A confident, proactive, professional approach with the ability to organise individuals at all levels in the team and to facilitate project outcomes
*Good computer skills
