The International Tax Compliance Specialist will report to the International Tax Compliance Manager and be responsible for:
* Preparing or overseeing preparation by outside firms of foreign local income tax compliance for entities in the EMEA region.
* Preparing or overseeing preparation and calculation of income tax installments for entities in the region.
* Calculating and/or reviewing the monthly income tax provisions for foreign entities in the EMEA region and completing the necessary US-reporting-driven tax account reconciliations.
* Assisting, as needed, in the preparation of the reports according to all US tax compliance requirements related to foreign entities in the EMEA region.
* Assisting, as needed, with the implementation, administration, and integration of our international structures (existing and future).
* Assisting, as workload allows, the Director of EMEA Tax Planning inDublin, with special projects.
Requirements:
A Successful candidate should have an Accounting or Tax qualification with suitable experience in monthly tax provision reporting in a large organization and be looking to pursue their career in Tax Compliance.
* Financial accounting and/or tax experience with a large multinational company is an advantage.
* 3/4 years expereince - ITI and/or ACA or ACCA
* Proven ability to have a good attention to detail
* Experience within a legal environment is an advantage but not essential
* Knowledge of alpha tax is an advantage
* Interest in learning about business tax matters
* Good understanding of the financial dynamics of a business.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills (written and oral)
* Ability to extract and summarise information using pivot tables/MS Access
* Excellent IT skills (including all MS Office applications)
* Very strong communication and organisational skills
