This Big 4 Firm has an extremely successful and highly regarded Financial Services practice.
The dedicated tax compliance team is responsible for the delivery of corporation tax provisions, computations and returns for a large number of our FSO tax clients. The work is varied and constantly challenging. All tax technical roles within the team are client facing and the Firm considers client service to be its key differentiator from the other Big 4 firms.
Within the team, staff are broadly split between industry sectors [Asset Management, Banking & Capital Markets and Insurance]; the sector that provides the team with the greatest volume of compliance work is asset management and as such the Firm undertakes both company and partnership tax computation preparation.
The role
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
- Spot opportunities for cross selling / additional services we could be providing, as part of standard computation reviews
- Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken
The candidate
- Relevant corporate tax compliance experience - at least 5 years in a compliance focused role
- Either partnership or corporate tax compliance experience
- A good understanding of accounts - UK GAAP and IFRS
- ACA / CA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA).
