Our client is one of the worlds leading mobile telecommunication organisations who are currently seeking an experienced Tax Manager to be based in Newbury, Berkshire.
Working within a busy & fast paced environment, the main responsibility of the role will be to provide tax support to the business to enable delivery of customer commitments. Other aspects of the role will include:
?Liasing with legal/finance/commercial teams
?Dealing with queries from the business relating to tax & VAT
?Supporting customer bids & product reviews & advising of tax implications
The successful candidate will need to have/be the following:
?Experience of international tax exposure in business related environments covering practical application of PE, WHT & contract reviews
?ICAEW or ACCA qualified or tax specific equivalent
?Understanding of EU treatment of service transactions for VAT & ability to interpret & risk assess local tax advice for wider global footprint
?Ideally experience gained within the Telecoms industry or blue chip organisations
?Strong communication skills - confident to deal all levels including senior directors.
