Thriving Top 10 firm seeks a tax planning manager or senior manager to undertake a variety of interesting and challenging project work.
The majority of the role will be of a tax advisory nature namely identifying and implementing tax planning strategies for clients operating in the entrepreneurial and OMB markets. You will deal with a wide range of tax issues covering corporation tax, capital taxes planning and income taxes planning. Projects undertaken by the department have included corporate reconstructions and reorganisations, demergers, purchase of own shares, CGT and loss planning and planning around EIS and EMI schemes. You will also be responsible for managing and coaching the junior team members.
You should have a commercial outlook and be able to contribute to the growth of the team. It is also important that you are an excellent communicator and articulator. You should be ACA/ACCA/CTA/ICAS qualified with experience of working in a tax planning environment. You will ideally have a mixed tax background but the firm will also look at corporate tax candidates wanting to move into a pure planning role.
