This international drinks company is seeking a new Tax Accountant to join their expanding team. The role will report into the Head of Group Tax and a wide remit across both UK and International jurisdictions.
Along with a very competitive pay structure the incumbent will be given all the support necessary to build their experience and move upwards through the business.
In relation to UK tax compliance, the UK Tax Accountant will typically be involved in the following:
UK entity tax returns for a portfolio of companies within the UK Group, including the main operating entity,
Tax notes for UK statutory accounts
Tax payments
Review of group controlled foreign company position on an annual basis to support the filing position, including preparation of necessary apportionment calculations
Preparation of double tax relief underlying tax claims for the Group
Dealing with HM Revenue & Customs' correspondence, including residency certificates and treaty clearances
Forecasting of the UK tax position on a quarterly basis, including scenario analysis
Liaison with appropriate Treasury staff the understand changes to UK debt and maintain the debt cap calculation
Quarterly interest payment monitoring processes for withholding tax purposes
Collection of tax information, as required by US shareholders, including liaison with external advisers and regions
Assistance in relation to ad-hoc tax planning projects
Group Tax Reporting
In relation to tax reporting, the role of the UK Tax Accountant would involve assisting with:
Collation of data from the regions for Total Tax Contribution purposes
Compilation of the quarterly summary reports
The adherence to the internal control (404) processes and preparation of supporting documentation
You Will: Have an ACA/CTA or equivalent and anywhere up to 5 years in tax.
