This well-known brand in the travel sector are looking to recruit an additional VAT Accountant, reporting to the VAT Manager, who in turns reports to the VAT Director. This is a new position that has been created due to the volume and complexity of VAT issues within the group. The role will involve working closely with a wide variety of the company and external personnel. Responsibilities will specifically include involvement in VAT compliance across approximately 30 European countries, review of certain UK and Overseas VAT returns by external advisors and retained finance and assisting the VAT Manager and/or Tax Director on VAT projects.
