VAT / Indirect Tax Manager - Media & Sports Industry
Incredible opportunity for an indirect tax accountant to join a growing media and sports agency as they add to their VAT function with a brand new hire of a European VAT Manager.
The main focus of this role will ensure that the European Group is compliant with its VAT obligations. This includes liaising and coordinating with the UK and EU VAT and Tax tams to ensure the business is compliant and provides a professional advisory service.
You will also participate in complex group projects, being the main point of contact, coordinating and managing all matters and advices in relation to VAT for the UK and EU.
The ideal candidate will have VAT experience from a large multinational company. This is the ideal move from someone just qualifying from a big 4 firm as we are looking to invest in someone long term career with us. As media and Sports are a commercial and client facing environment you should also have the interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues in a relaxed and dress down culture. Competitive basic work life balance and ad hoc bens (inc tickets to sporting events).
You will be ACA and/or CTA qualified and have a proven track record with VAT.
