Well regarded, Top 10 firm with a successful Manchester office is looking to recruit a new key team member. This senior manager position is to help lead and run the indirect tax practice in the North West.. In this role you will run an interesting and varied portfolio which will include Plcs, large OMBs and entrepreneurial growing businesses. You will be actively involved in business development and marketing to both internal and external clients and liaison with third party work referrers such as banks and legal practices. You will be involved in client training and will have considerable contact with clients and HMRC. This position could be full or part time and the firm has a modern approach to flexible working arrangements.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification (e.g. ACA, CTA, ICAS,ATII, ex Inspector etc).
An in depth knowledge and technical understanding of the Indirect Tax market, strong client facing, relationship building and business development skills, coupled with commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively in a team.
